Cowboy Tales: Wilbur Countryman & Bluestem

Recorded at a cowboy poetry gathering in Strong City, Kansas, in 1991, Wilbur Countryman of Cassoday, Kansas, recites a couple poems and the group “Bluestem” from Lawrence, Kansas, ends the evening with a performance of the song “Tumbling Tumbleweeds.” This was originally broadcast on KTWU/Channel 11 in Topeka, in the program called “Tales of the Cowboy Trail” produced by Dave Kendall.
