Its Saturday night. The sounds of laughter and chatter ring throughout a warm house. No television, no technology can be found. It must be game night!
At 6:30 p.m. Saturday, February 11, Pioneer Bluffs will host an evening the whole family will enjoy – Game Night. Everyone is invited to this free event.
Tables will be set up in the 1908 home at Pioneer Bluffs for a variety of games. Those who attend are welcome to bring a snack to share and their favorite card or board game. Or come to learn a new game. Whether Canasta, Pitch, Checkers, Old Maid, or something new, it will be old-fashioned fun.
Game Night is organized and hosted by Denise Fetrow, Pioneer Bluffs board president, Cedar Point resident, and someone who enjoys the simple, relaxing fun of playing games with friends. She quotes Benjamin Franklin, who said “We do not stop playing because we grow old, we grow old because we stop playing!”
If inclement weather, Game Night will be cancelled.
RSVP requested but not required. Contact executive director Lynn Smith at (620) 753-3484 or email@example.com.
